Akol Global was founded in 2003 in the real estate sector in Northern Cyprus. On its own corporate website, the company states that it grew with a priority on architectural design, construction quality and customer satisfaction, that it produced luxury housing, residence, superstructure and commercial projects for domestic and foreign investors, and that in the following years it expanded into real estate investment trust, media, tourism, hotel management and residential leasing, becoming the AKOL Group of Companies.
On the construction side, the company states on its own website that it is a member of the Cyprus Turkish Contractors Association and holds the highest-level (Class A) contracting certificate. Today the group defines six fields of activity: construction and project development; real estate investment trust (REIT); rental and property management; tourism and hotel management (Caddemm Inn Hotel in Gazimağusa); media and communications (BAĞIMSIZ Media Group); after-sales services.
The company's own project record contains 26 entries: 24 housing/residence projects plus one hotel and one commercial development. On the purchasing side, the company states on its sales policy page that all units are eligible for bank loans of up to 120 months; that it offers medium- and long-term payment plans shaped according to the buyer's financial plan along with barter payment options; and that the payment plan, contract and document flow proceed transparently. It is also the company's own statement that it secures its projects with bank guarantees and delivers them on time. Since the scope of the guarantee and the maturity terms vary by project, they should be confirmed directly with the company.
The head office is at Akol Business Center in İskele Ötüken. There is also a Dolce Vita sales office and a Seaworth after-sales office in Ötüken, a Karpaz sales office in İskele Dipkarpaz, a sales office in Girne Esentepe, and a sales office in Ankara Beştepe in Turkey. According to the company's own notification, the head office working hours are Monday-Saturday 08:30-13:00; the Dolce Vita sales office is open on weekdays and Saturday 08:30-18:00, and Sunday 10:00-18:00.
