It is operationally linked to the adjacent five-star RG Village Crete hotel, and the developer places it in an authentic Cretan landscape with unobstructed views and complete tranquillity.
Total area is 100 m², of which 71–73 m² is internal; the balance is the veranda, balcony and covered outdoor space. Each home is arranged over two floors and has a private heated pool. The developer publishes ground- and first-floor plans together with exterior and interior renders on the project page.
Homes are delivered turn-key: furnished, equipped and ready to use with no additional investment required from the buyer. Each home is fitted for solar energy, which the developer says is intended to lower running costs across the year.
Under the hotel residences model, owners can use their home for up to 30 days a year during designated periods; for the rest of the time the homes are operated by an independent specialist management company working with RG Village.
Owners and guests receive cleaning and linen service, maintenance and technical support, consumables and housekeeping, access to RG Village Crete facilities and discounts at the hotel's restaurants, bars and shops.
Full personal use is also possible; in that case owners contribute to common expenses, pay for installing electricity and water meters, and are charged for pool maintenance.
The development is planned in four phases: 6 homes in phase 1 (under construction), 8 in phase 2, 8 in phase 3 and 48 in phase 4. The phase 4 plot will include a large car park with 70 spaces, one per home. The adjacent RG Village Crete offers suites and villas with private pools, four large pools, a mini market, shops, a full spa and sea and mountain views, giving owners access to five-star hotel facilities.
Creta Hills is 10–15 minutes from Rethymno town and 5–10 minutes from organised beaches on the north coast. Chania Airport is about an hour away and Heraklion Airport about an hour and ten minutes. Rethymno is one of Crete's most appealing areas, known for its Venetian harbour, authentic character and relatively limited overdevelopment.
The project website's imprint names NEWSNET LIMITED, trading as Creta Hills and registered at an address in Kato Lakatamia, Nicosia, as the developer; no separate construction company is named on the site. Operationally, the project works with the adjacent RG Village Crete hotel.
The developer describes the first group released for sale as the 14 homes in phases 1 and 2. Construction of the 6 homes in phase 1 is under way, but no delivery date is published for any phase.
